What rights users have over their data:

If user has an account, or have left comments, user can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about them, including any data they have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about the user. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for compliance (e.g. HIPAA), administrative, legal, or security purposes. 

If individuals are a user of Plethy Recupe:

Plethy does not resell personal information to Third Parties or use such information to provide targeted ads. We are HIPAA compliant and do not otherwise share patient information except if required or allowed by law. We might use aggregated recovery and care journey information to develop new protocols, improve care journeys and develop predictors that enable better recovery outcomes for all patients.

Plethy is committed to safeguarding users’ privacy and ensuring the security of individuals personal data. This Data Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect our data. If you are a user of Recupe, the user consents to the practices described in this policy. We collect various types of data to provide users with personalized and effective care programs, including personal information, health information, device information, and usage information. This data is used to personalize care programs, improve our services, and communicate with users.

We will request specific permission to collect data from apps such as Google Fit or Apple Health as necessary for users care programs.  This is only used to track recovery and not used for any marketing purposes. We will also ask for explicit permission for location information to connect to Bluetooth for Android devices and it will not be used to track users’ location. 

Plethy takes the security of your data seriously and employs industry-standard security measures to protect it. We are committed to complying with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws, including implementing appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your protected health information (PHI). We retain users’ data for as long as necessary to provide users with our services and as required by law. If a user would like their data to be deleted, please contact us. Users have certain rights regarding their data, including the right to access, correct, or delete user data. Users can exercise these rights by contacting us.
