Recupe Coach – LPN/LVN with CA License- English/Spanish Bilingual Required

Position:  
We are looking for a bilingual LPN / LVN to help motivate, guide, and support patients who are prescribed Recupe. As we expand our care team to support physical therapists using remote physiological monitoring (RPM), we are looking to hire empathetic individuals who are passionate about health, technology, and supporting others through their healthcare journey.   

  • Remote work environment within the US
  • Active LPN/LVN license and resident in the state of California
  • Previous experience in orthopedics or background in exercise science
  • Part-time (20-30 hours/week within standard workday), potentially convert to full-time in future
  • $22-26/hour
  • Start date:  ASAP  

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the main point of contact for patients using Recupe, corresponding with the prescribing provider on patient engagement and activity.
  • Observe and monitor patients’ progress on the Recupe platform.
  • Onboard and train patients to utilize the Recupe program as part of their recovery.
  • Upload patient notes and charts as necessary into EHR (electronic health record) systems. 
  • Be the clinic’s point of contact for patient engagement, charting, and billing questions.
  • Upload prescribed exercises and programs from the patient’s provider into the Recupe program.
  • Work with patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.  
  • Empower patients to manage their care at home, supporting patients in following their care protocol.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers.  
  • Support them in sticking with their care protocol.  
  • Ensure patients are utilizing product capabilities to maximize their recovery success.
  • Identify potential problems and work to find a solution in order to maximize patient success.
  • Work with patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Requirements:  

  • A residence and license to practice in the state of California.
  • 2+ years of experience as an LPN/LVN.  
  • 1+ year of experience in orthopedics or a related field is preferred.
  • A high level of empathy, care and understanding for patients, clinic staff, and co-workers.
  • You are passionate about helping patients follow their care protocol and helping them overcome barriers.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills, with a natural, effective motivational style.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
